MR to X-Ray Projection Image Synthesis
Hybrid imaging promises large potential in medical imaging applications. To fully utilize the possibilities of corresponding information from different modalities, the information must be transferable between the domains. In radiation therapy planning, existing methods make use of reconstructed 3D magnetic resonance imaging data to synthesize corresponding Xray attenuation maps. In contrast, fo...
متن کاملSoft-x-ray projection lithography
Soft-x-ray projection imaging is demonstrated by the use of 14-nm radiation from a laser plasma source and a single-surface multilayer-coated ellipsoidal condenser. Aberrations in the condenser and the Schwarzschild imaging objective are characterized and correlated with imaging performance. A new Schwarzschild housing, designed for improved alignment stability, is described.
متن کاملreproducible x-ray projection geometry in endodontic practice
introduction: clinical application of radiography in endodontic practice is affected by reproducibility in the orientation of the x-ray source, image receptor and object. the inability of dentists to locate intra oral films or sensors in appropriate positions in different cases can cause complications in the performance of endodontic therapy. commercially available film holder (endoray) and con...
متن کاملCompressive Imaging: Hybrid Projection Design
Abstract: Compressive imaging/sensing employing a random measurement basis does not incorporate the specific object prior information available for natural images. An alternate hybrid measurement basis is proposed that yields improved reconstruction performance for natural images. ©2010 Optical Society of America OCIS codes: (110.1758) Computational imaging; (100.3020) Image reconstruction-rest...
